The slopes favour a late harvesting of fully ripe and healthy grapes. Good preconditions for mild, dry Riesling wines and velvety Pinot Noirs.
The Köwericher Laurentiuslay is directly joined with the Klüsserather Bruderschaft.
Our Pinot Noir wines are growing in these vineyards. Also the grapes for our Riesling sparkling wines.

For many generations, the family have been cultivating theirs vines in the original core vicinity of these world famous steep slopes.
Prominent is the site “vor Kornicht” – the exposed slope and the 80 year old vines guarantee full-bodies, fruity wines with clear terroir impact.
Ancient Romans already cultivated the weather-worn slate. Whether sweet aromatic, off-dry fruity, full-flavoured dry – our best Riesling wines grow here.
